As part of the Malta Biennale 2026, students aged 7+ are cordially invited to come get their hands dirty for the event ‘Meditations in Clay’ happening at MUŻA, Valletta.
This activity invites children to get their hands into the clay, switch off the noise, and let their instincts do the talking. Participants begin with a guided walk through the museum, paying attention to how certain artworks make them feel. The session then moves to the workshop space, where the children will be invited to talk about clay and what it represents, such as feeling grounded and connected. Participants will then sculpt with clay while wearing a blindfold, using touch and sensation to create something that represents them. We finish with a fun, relaxed chat where children can proudly show their clay creations and talk about what they made — sharing is always optional!
Meditazzjoni fit-Tafal
Bħala parti mill-Malta Biennale 2026, studenti ta’ 7 snin jew aktar huma mistednin jiġu jħammġu jdejhom fl-avveniment ‘Meditazzjoni fit-Tafal’ li se jsir f’MUŻA, il-Belt Valletta.
Din l-attività tistieden lit-tfal idaħħlu jdejhom fit-tafal, jitfu l-istorbju ta’ madwarhom, u jħallu l-istint tagħhom jitkellem. Il-parteċipanti se jibdew b’dawra gwidata mal-mużew, fejn joqogħdu attenti għal kif ċerti xogħlijiet tal-arti jġegħluhom iħossuhom. Is-sessjoni mbagħad tkompli fil-post tal-workshop, fejn it-tfal jiġu mistiedna jitkellmu dwar it-tafal u dak li jirrappreżenta, bħal sens ta’ stabbiltà u konnessjoni. Il-parteċipanti mbagħad se jimmudellaw it-tafal b’għajnejhom mgħottija, fejn jużaw il-mess u s-sensazzjoni biex joħolqu xi ħaġa li tirrappreżentahom. Nispiċċaw b’taħdita rilassata u pjaċevoli fejn it-tfal juru bi kburija dak li ħolqu bit-tafal u jitkellmu dwaru. Jistgħu jagħtu l-oġġetti li joħolqu lil xulxin ukoll.
