Victor Sonna (b. 1977) is a visual artist whose practice explores identity, malleability, and materiality. Born in Yaound., Cameroon, and raised in the Netherlands, he studied at the Design Academy Eindhoven and at AKV | St. Joost. He lives and works between Africa and the Netherlands. His work is informed by his personal history, negotiating between African roots and a European context, and spans paintings, sculptures, and large-scale installations. His work is held in museums and private collections.
