Embark on a delightful culinary journey with the “Art Inspired Food!” workshop at the Inquisitor’s Palace.
This immersive experience, to be held in the afternoon of May 31st from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, invites participants aged eight and over to explore how art and gastronomy intersect. Inspired by the captivating artworks at the Biennale pavilions, attendees will learn to craft exquisite almond-filled pastries, mirroring the intricate shapes and designs seen in the exhibits.
Participants will try their hand at pastry making, from kneading dough to forming each pastry ball into unique, artistic shapes. This hands-on workshop not only enhances culinary skills but also encourages a creative interpretation of visual art through food.
As the children’s goodies bake to golden perfection, the workshop will become a sensory celebration, merging the aromatic allure of fresh pastries with the visual inspirations that sparked their creation. Each participant will leave with a personal box of these delectable pastries, along with a deepened appreciation for how art can transcend traditional media and influence everyday life.
Please note that the workshop is not wheelchair accessible and involves ingredients that may expose participants to allergens such as wheat, eggs, nuts, and gluten.
Tickets are priced at €15 and are available for purchase on https://heritagemalta.mt/store/e1439/ or at any Heritage Malta museum or site. Do not miss this unique opportunity to blend creativity with culinary art in the beautiful setting of the Inquisitor’s Palace.
