Josian Bonello (b.1967, Malta) attended a three year full-time course in graphic design at the Salvatore Dimech School in Mosta, obtaining a diploma with distinction. In 1986 she was accepted for a three year internship with the museums department, studying in the process at the Art & Design Centre in Valletta. In 1989, she studied nude figure drawing and etching at the Accademia, Pietro Vannucci in Perugia. She is employed as a graphic designer with the museums department, currently Heritage Malta, forming part of a team designing permanent and temporary exhibitions in Malta and abroad. She is an ex-student and member of the Malta Society of Arts where she had the opportunity to participate in collective exhibitions.
