Sandra Zaffarese (b.1976, Malta) is a Maltese-English Artist working and practising in Malta. After graduating from Camberwell College of Arts with a degree in Sculpture, Sandra co-ran an independent non-profit gallery and studio space. During that time, she regularly showed her work, curated and organised over 30 exhibitions. She has been curating shows ever since. Trained as a sculptor, she is a multi-disciplinarian interested in the all too often overlooked or undercooked. She currently works from her studio in Wied iż-Żurrieq. Sandra pursues a successful career as a Set Decorator on feature films. She is the Artistic Director for the Kinemastik International Short Film Festival, in Malta.
