Teresa Antignani (b.1991, Isernia,Italy) is an artist and activist. Since 2018 her work has developed an awareness towards eco-feminist practices and grassroot activism for the defence of the land, which has become part of the ongoing collaborative project Martyrion. Her work is always endowed with an embodied dimension whereby the female body often becomes the lens through which reading and exposing environmental abuses; the hypocrisy of the power dynamics that surround the environmental struggle against energy giants and, ultimately, the ethical and political value of art.
